Now reporting flight from BOS - CLT.

I love the media's obsession with reporting first, fact checking later (CBS called it an A380 a couple times.)

Hope everyone is okay.

CNN said "controlled landing" and "soft landing" and "without breaking apart".

"low, controlled landing onto water".

CNN.com is live there also.

43 degrees in the water, folks need to get out to avoid hypothermia...

Why haven't they said anything about the passengers?

I can't stand Fox news, everyone on there loves to pretend they know so much about aviation when they really have no idea. They've gone from it being an E170 to an E175, to an A320, and now its a 737. I really hope this was one of the over water equipped aircraft that have life vests and rafts. If the passengers only had those terrible flotation cushions that would be really bad.

the view of the plane not sinking is OLD video, it is not live. the live view shows the plane almost under water. In fact they are not zooming in anymore since the plane is going under.

Its an A319 or 320, there are inflatable life preservers in the view. THere are also numerous other water crafts/helicopters etc, throwing life vests off to the passengers that they can't pluck out fast enough.

Wow! That takes some excellent piloting, I couldn't imagine trying to land on water...

Looks like everyone got off, according to CNN.
