It never worked for me. I am in the process of mailing in a missing miles request.

It worked yesterday
One of my flights didn't post. I put in my flight and seat nimber and within a few days - I got a confirmation e-mail.
ALSO -
It was an upgraded FC seat - but I was given actual preferred miles and the class preferred bonus as if I'd paid FC. Interesting and fortunate bug.
