US Elite Security Line at DCA?

The Dividend Miles website lists DCA as an airport in which elites are entitled to use a special security line, but I don't recall ever seeing one while travelling out of DCA. (I noticed them setting up the new trusted traveller program line, but haven't seen an elite line).

Is there in fact such a line? If so where is it?

As you approach the checkpoint, it's the line to the left. As of a few weeks ago, it still exists.

It's not always there, but it does exist.

It's always there, they just sometimes take the sign down because it's the same line as the NY-BOS Shuttle but people find it really confusing (for some reason) to have both signs on one line. It's the furthest line to the left as you enter the highest-numbered set of gates in Terminal C. It's also often the slowest of the 3 lines because it has the puffer-machine and also because it hooks around way to the left while the other lines go straight.
It only looks shorter till you get towards the podium.

that thing was a ridiculous bottleneck. glad to see it gone.

many times the elite line, even if it's labeled as such, is no shorter than the other lines. but hey, you could always choose flyclear, there are exactly ZERO people in that line every thursday when i head home to NYC.

It wasn't there 2 hours ago and I don't recall seeing it in my last couple of trips in the last month. I did get puffed last time and didn't see it on this pass.

I am flying out of DCA tonight so I will keep an eye out. Given the relatively phantom nature of this line, my guess is that access restrictions are not often enforced. Are non-elites/shuttle passengers (when applicable) turned away from this security line?

Almost every time I've seen it, it's signed for shuttle pax and elites.
