CLT-DFW yesterday
Sat at the gate waiting on repair of a speaker and volume knob for a few hours. I finally gave up and headed back to Tampa as I had missed my meetings.
As frustrating as that was, the FA's and the GA were amazing. I actually enjoyed the time on the plane. I was able to get a flight home at 1, got an upgrade from the GA, met some nice folks, and basically turned what should have been a bad experience into "one of those things". Not sure when it happened, but there is a tremendous difference in attitudes lately across the board at US.
They refunded my ticket so I came out with a lost day and a smile, how often does that happen? So thanks to them for making a bad situation better.
