Service in F at 8:30 p.m.

Does HP serve a snack in F on flights after normal meal hours or is nothing served? I'm on an 8:30 p.m. PHL-SEA nonstop operated by HP. The last time I took a flight this late was when US used to operate a 9 p.m. PIT-SEA flight (years ago!), and we got a pasta salad and/or half sandwich.

Enjoy the little snack mix packages.

On a positive note, HP serves drinks in real glass in F. (Is the US side still using plastic?)

Unfortunately you'll just get a bag on snack mix. If it was US-operated, I believe you would still receive the half-sandwich with pasta salad, etc.

US is still using plastic cups in F.

Just to clarify, HP does not use glassware in F unless there is a meal served. I've been flying them almost exclusively this year, and the only flights with glassware are those with meals.

US is still using plastic in F. You won't get glass in F on that HP flight, either... they only load glassware on meal-service flights. Which is better than no glass at all, but hopefully the glass will come out for ALL flights...

Incidentally, the plastic cups on HP are much larger than those dinky things US uses. You actually get a full drink when you order one. In fact, I usually order a "double" to make up for the larger cup.
