Earning miles on UAL?
I have never taken HP before and might have to fly one this weekend and have a rather silly question:
Can one earn UA Mileage Plus on HP flights?

Just made a reservation on a UA flight LAX-PHX in March. Called UA to inquire about adding my Americawest Flightfund #. The agent said that they could add it to my reservation and promptly did so.

Hm. I'm not sure about that. Anyway, you can always open a Dividend Miles account, post the UA miles to that. The accounts will be merged later this year, or you can transfer for free HP<->US via points.com.
