Web check in problems this morning?

Wondering if anyone else has had difficulties checking in this morning...trying to check in online for 655a flight tomorrow, within the 24 hour window, and everything is moving slowly. Finally got the following message:

We are unable to print your boarding pass.
Confirmation Number
xxxxxx
Heres what happened
You have been succcessfully checked-in. However, the system is unable to retrieve and display a boarding pass.
How can I fix it?
Repeated attempts will result in this same message. Please proceed to the airport to receive your boarding pass.

Not a big deal, just an inconvenience to have to stop at the kiosk. Anyone else have a similar issue? Not good on the busiest travel day of the year!

OH NOOOOOOOOOO!!! I hadn't even considered that, but you could be right. Well I guess the typical 20-minute advance arrival at Long Beach I'm used to will need to be extended by a bit tomorrow

Let the Thanksgiving fun begin....compliments of the TSA

No SSSS for me

I write from the Club at the end of the A concourse; got the same error message this morning and was braced for the worst.

At the ticket counter I used a kiosk and out came by BP....no SSSS designation.

TURN OFF YOUR FIREWALL and try printing your pass. One of the most popular fire walls, Norton Internet Security, causes major problems with AW boarding passes. DO NOT FORGET TO TURN ON YOUR FIREWALL WHEN YOUR DONE.

Well here's the end of the story...no secondary screening, but the ticket agent said she had encountered a couple other people with the same problem that morning.

Guess all the Turkey Day travellers were clogging up web check in.

I will say though...I thought that all the HP staff I ran into on Thursday...from ticket agent to FAs...were all in great moods. Nice to see them making the best of working on Thanksgiving.
