Upgraded, but no seats available
So on Wednesday, I am flying on US 830, a A330 going between CLT and PHL. About 4:00 AM this morning, I received my upgrade email congratulating me on my upgrade between CLT and PHL. My seat assignment, however, is still 10G and when I look at the F seat map, all seats are taken. Any thoughts on what is happening?

Not to worry. The available seats in F are currently blocked; they will assign you one sometime between now and departure. ExpertFlyer free seat search will show the blocked seats. On narrow bodies, it's usually 1A; in your case, on the 330, it looks like 7A & 7H.

Welcome to Flyertalk lurk!
This is a somewhat common occurrence, and has happened to me a few times. When I've called, the agent was happy to assign me a seat in F, in row 1, what would normally be a seat held for a handicapped passenger.

Seat availability on the seat map has nothing to do with seat availability. There is a seat, it may just not be a particular seat at this moment. US, for instance, blocks Row 1, sometimes until the gate, for a disabled passenger + companion.
