PHL-FLL - New Competition
 

I see that JetBlue is adding this route come November. Anyone's thoughts on how this will impact pricing on this route between PHL & FLL?

PHL-FLL is not a huge O&D market for AA/US, so not likely huge. Same thing because demand is on screech so the additional capacity may simply keep fares in check rather than loweing them (put preventing them from skyrocketing as they are on some routes).

I fly this route round-trip almost weekly flying out of PHL Monday mornings and returning Thursday evenings and I generally get fares around $300-400 with just a couple weeks advance purchase. It does not seem to bother my employer much at that rate, maybe if it keeps me happy and showing up for work every week it is worth it to them.
