"Extend" Expiration of VDB Voucher
Wanted to see if others had done this or know any more info.
Called Reservations who told me that if I purchase a ticket using a VDB voucher, and cancel within the 24 hour period, then I would be issued a NEW voucher with a NEW 1 year expiration date (takes 2 - 3 weeks to process new voucher).
Is this correct?

While the situation you encountered above may happen i would not count on it. The expiration is usually tied to the original ticket/travel date.

Suspect you got a poorly-trained agent or your question was unclear. The new voucher should have the same expiration as the voucher used to pay for the underlying ticket.
