Most comfy PHL>LHR

Haven't flown in ages due to illness. Can someone suggest which flight provides the most comfortable FC seats? Are any of them with a lie flat seat? I haven't kept up, but Envoy to LHR used to be grim. Thank you very much. Planning to fly mid-February. Have flexibility and time. Thank you,

Most comfy PHL>LHR

All the US A330 widebodies offer flat seating in a semi private pod now. There is a master thread on the A330-200 and A330-300.

The 757 and 767 do not have lie flat. But going to LHR you would likely be on a 330.

BA first on the route is the most comfy. I would recommend that.

Well, since Envoy isn't F, so technically BA is the only F option on the route.

Isn't it that BA LHR-PHL flights are now operated with Mixed Fleet F/A's (minimum wage employees on temporary contracts). Mixed Fleet service standards are awfully low and US Envoy would then beat BA F hands down. My few recent trips to LHR were in Envoy and I was impressed with each and every flight.

If you choose BA, pls check the BA forum for current Mixed Fleet routes.

Exactly, here is the thread for the A330-300:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/us-ai...er-thread.html

And here's the one for the A330-200:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/us-ai...er-thread.html

Note: US doesn't have First class, but has Envoy, similar to Business on most other carriers.

Please feel free to skim the appropriate master thread for your flights, and post any questions there.

Thanks!
