US to Brazil: 767-200 vs. A330-300

Seatguru says the 767 has just angle-flat seats in Envoy (biz) Class, with 2-2-2 layout. I understand Seatuguru's reliability has its skeptics, so wanted to know if anyone can verify the seat types on the 767? We know the A330 has 1-2-1 seating, with suites.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 7_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/537.51.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0 Mobile/11D167 Safari/9537.53)

AA's 767-300s are being retrofitted to a new fully flat business configuration with ZRH being the first route. the old (slanted) configuration remains for the Brazil flights.

You will be getting the US Airways angled lie-flat product that preceded the Envoy Suite. I think it's an ok seat although some find it rather narrow.

As American Airlines and US Airways are still operating as distinct airlines, this question is being moved to the appropriate pre-merger airline forum.

Please note the sticky at the top of the consolidated thread which is titled Welcome to the New American Airlines Forum! PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING. With all of the changes about, it is important to know where to post, and reading that thread before posting (as the title suggests ) will help get you in the right place.

I am in that group that really dislikes the old Envoy seats. They are a bit narrow, but my biggest issue is even at the most upright angle I feel like I am laying down. I would choose the A330 100% over the 767 Envoy product. It's not even close in my book.

A330 Envoy seat every day without question. However, pre-180 degree lie-flat std. it was an above average business class seat.
