Any recent experiences US Flight 66 SAN-DCA

Looking into taking this flight next month in F. Any recent experiences regarding this flight- what type of meal service is expected. I have not flown US Air in years but this flight is showing up as the best option for using my United miles for my date of travel.

You will get lunch and of course US rotates thier meals so what someone will get today wont may not be what you get. I can tell you that for the most part, US's lunchs are far better than UA's and are one par with AA's.

I booked this flight with United miles in First for May 21- surprisingly was able to get 3 seats in F for 25,000 miles each. Heading to my father inlaw's funeral at Arlington and had to fly first class with mother inlaw.

That's a tough route for upgrades and F award space... I've had better luck using US miles for PS F and connecting on either end.

Yea- I was really surprised 3 low mile F awards were available on this flight. There were no low F awards available on United for the dates I needed on their nonstops to IAD

One take off and one landing, that's what I look for most.
