GoGo Holiday Packs

Hey all,

Found this last night so I thought I'd share.

GoGo is selling 3 24 hr wifi passes for $19.50 that are good from now until Jan 3. Great if you have some holiday travel as that breaks down to 6.50 a day. Great for a transcon.

I think they're only good on US.

The packs are good for all airlines. It says "All Gogo equipped" in the Airline section when you purchase them. I'm on my second pack right now - best $40 I ever spent.

Although it's s-l-o-w as hell sometimes.

I'm glad you've found it helpful. AlphaTango is right ... it says any GoGo powered flight. I played around with the URL and put DL and VX in there where it said US and the same deal came up too.

There's also a "Reindeer" pack that goes on sale for next week. It has 2 passes for $14.50 good for Dec 22-Jan 3.

With Go-Go being installed by nearly all the airlines (except for smaller RJ's and WN) it's becoming harder to justify not getting the monthly plans - sign up for months when you fly at least 6 segments and cancel for months you don't.

I'll be interested to see if they offer a monthly entertainment package, or combo package of the two once US gets the streaming video equipment installed.

Hopefully I'm wrong but at least for a while I expect a separate charge. I assume that Go-Go will have to pay a usage fee to the content providers (especially for the movies) much like the current non-wifi IFE.

This is a great deal. I'm flying RDU-CLT-MEX tomorrow and I'm curious how much of the CLT-MEX flight would be covered with Gogo?

Does anybody have experience with this?

IIRC I believe service extends 100 miles past the border

That roughly matches my experience on PHL-BDA-PHL flights on an A319 a few weeks ago.
