Bag fees with partial itn in F
Taking some time off this summer to head to SXM and SJO (SXM in May and SJO in June). I haven't had to think about this until now, but with the new 1 bag US Silver rules now i have to get creative. I would like to take my golf clubs down with me but that leaves me with just a carry on. I'm originiating in JAX where upgrades are always easy. So I am wondering if I am upgraded from JAX-CLT, will I be allowed 2 free bags all the way to SXM and SJO (assuming I don't get upgraded on those since they are both considered domestic F eligible for elite upgrade)? I assume you can chec both, but figured I would double check before I start stuffing bathing suits in my golf bag. Thanks

The lawyer in me has me wondering though if you got the 2nd bag because there was no F option on your flight? I'm going to stick my neck out and assume it will be fine to check 2 bags but if anybody who has done this on the mainline would like to chime in, I'm all ears. Thanks

Works Fine
I've done this quite a few times, LAX/PHX is a hard UG, but PHX/ORD I generally make. Never an issue checking 2 bags at LAX or ORD. In ORD once they've asked to see my boarding pass if I use self checkin.
