Does QR flights credited to Dividend Miles count towards Preferred Elite Status on USAir?

Incidentally, I just booked some QR flights online, and QR's webpage seemed to take my DM number without any issues. Now I just wish that UA could do the same...

I was checking us airways website and noticed that the mileage accrual on most of the economy class booking classes have been changed to 50%

This is bad news indeed...I took a QR flight last year in booking class 'H' and received 100% mileage credit to US...Now I see that it's been reduced to 50% mileage accrual.

J class fares get a 50% bonus that counts towards preferred.

I also received the 500 mile minimum for a Q fare.
