Baggage allowance when flying multiple partners
I will be flying on several partner airlines next week, but unsure what the baggage allowance will be. US website isn't that helpful when it comes to multiple partners.
PHL-BOS US F
BOS FRA LH C
FRA-ZRH LH C
ZRH-PVG LX C
Will I have US allowance because it's the first segment? or LH allowance because it's the first international segment? Thanks

Going to PVG, you'll be subject to USAir's first class international allowance.
Coming back from PVG, you'll be subject to Lufthansa's buisness class international allowance (and since you are flying to the United States, you'll be subject to the piece concept).
For exact specifications, I'd check the respective carrier's websites.

Is it one ticket or multiple tickets? If you have the ticket number you can check the baggage allowance in the ticket. I assume it will be the piece system (PC in the ticket).
That normally means 2 pieces for the entire ticket for business class.
Do you have Star Gold status?

There is one 'gray' area - which i believe does not apply here.
If the ticket is under the piece concept then some airlines (esp. in Eco like LH) allow 1 piece, others 2. Not sure what the effect is.
Also some airlines allow 23 k, others 32 kg (=75 pounds) per piece. Same problem here.
LH/LX is also changing from the weight concept (mainly for Europe-Asia) to the piece concept.
