Intra-EU Preferred Carrier for DM Credit?
I am a GP on US. Most of my miles are accrued on TA flights on US. Once in Europe, I have stuck with *A carriers, LH (mostly), SK & BD, directing credit to my DM account and using the *G lounges around Europe.
When I am faced with intra-EU flight options where I have the choice of flying Austrian, LH, or SK, is there any difference in mileage credit for a US GP electing DM credit on one carrier over another (for example, minimum miles, preferred extra credit, etc)? (I understand upgrades on EU carriers are not applicable here)
OR, would it be in my best interest to earn DM only on the TA US segments (or getting at least US GP level) and sign up for LH program (and fly solely with them within EU) to maximize my benefits?
