We could hope, at least
Is this move to where HP is in T1 confirmed? If so, when?

They're going to consolidate ops and it sure as heck isn't going to be in the US wing, given how badly the airport wants to bulldoze it. There's a couple very underused gates and counters at the HP rotunda that could easily be put in service. I haven't heard it confirmed but it would make sense...

That said, the HP rotunda isn't the world's nicest concourse. Could do with a nice freshening. Hopefully it'll get one?

No room at the UA terminal. During the busy times UA is known to gate 1-2 domestic planes on the G Concourse (international). Also, If there was room at the UA terminal Air Canada would have co-located years ago.

The US gates by Concourse A rotunda are required for the morning departures and evening arrivals. Midday that there is ample space on the HP/AC/AS/CO/ATA concourse.

Also, the A Concourse does not require more gates for international purposes, so buldozing the A rotunda does not make financial sense. If A concourse needs more international gates then Independance, Westjet, and Air Tran can move to the B gates. Granted Independance will not be a SFO issue for much longer.

Isn't TZ supposed to move over to OAK with WN? It would make more sense since WN can't feed SFO without major inconvenience to pax.

The current rotunda that US Airways occupies at SFO Airport is blocking the use of several potential gate sites on the pier of the new International Terminal. SFO badly wants to get rid of that rotunda and open up those International Terminal gates. Only US and YX still occupy it and as soon as they're gone, so is that rotunda.

What about the old International terminal. I always thought that would be a nice place for a couple of airlines.

Now that the LAX club is re-opening 19 December (according to the linked press release), who will be the first FlyerTalker to re-enter?

It will be interesting to see what happens in San Francisco.
