Thought this might be of interest to folks wondering about their Dividend Miles and such:

"This extension essentially builds us the necessary runway for a take-off this summer." I hope they don't plan on another quick exit from bankruptcy and wind up back in it for a third time months later. If they do survive this death bed, they better make it right or there will be no third chance around. Just my opinion.

Well, this seems like pretty decent news for those of us still hanging on to rather large balances in our accounts. This should give them enough time to get the FLL mini-hub up and running and should buy a few more months for them.

They REALLY REALLY don't want to eat that loan.....or, they have been advised of behind the scenes negotiations for a sale of some kind.

At least it looks like my flights for this weekend are safe now...I had been a little worried, and had been checking SkySaver availability on Delta...at least now I save myself a lot of hassle, 25,000 miles, and $50 for doing a last-minute booking (which is a fee that I am quite happy US does not have, as it allows me to book an award ticket less than a week before travel).
