Dear Mr. HobokenFlyer:

BIG NEWS
We are pleased to announce a new relationship with US
Airways. This initiative will offer greater convenience to
our Mileage Plus(R) members by offering improved access to US
Airways' strong East Coast and Caribbean routes.

ADDED BENEFITS AND SERVICES
As a Mileage Plus member, you will enjoy a wide range of new
benefits and services. Once the code share agreement is
implemented, you will be able to:

> Accrue miles on all US Airways, US Airways Express and US
Airways Shuttle flights worldwide. (Miles may be credited
towards only one frequent flyer program. If you choose to
qualify for our program, your miles will count towards
elite status in Mileage Plus.)

> Redeem miles worldwide on the US Airways route network.
(Awards may allow for a combination of United and US
Airways flight segments on the same itinerary. Mileage
from the two programs may not be combined for a single
award.)

Additionally, Red Carpet Club(R) members will enjoy reciprocal
lounge access to an additional 23 US Airways Club locations
in 20 airports worldwide provided travel is the same day on
US Airways, US Airways Express or US Airways Shuttle.

WIN-WIN
Competition between the carriers will remain strong and the
companies will retain separate pricing, schedules and sales
forces. However, the agreement allows both carriers to
complement their route networks. We believe it is a good
strategic fit for both carriers and is important to our
future. At the same time, it will bring greater connection
opportunities and more streamlined processes for ticket
reservations and check-ins.

We are very excited about our new partnership with US
Airways and we wanted to share the information with you. An
exact implementation date has not been set; however, in the
coming months, we will let you know the details as soon as
we know them. In the meantime, thank you for your continued
business and support.
