Advice: Take the trip for GP?
My GF renewed her SP status by doing the miles last year. We're doing SEA-CDG in April which yields just under the 12,500 miles required for the GP challenge (P0202 or whatever).
We do have an opportunity to top up the miles on our way back (overnighting in PHL). PHL-PIT-PHL for $96.50 including taxes. Catch is 1) only have a scheduled 2 hours after arrivng frm CDG to catch the 1815 to PIT, and then catch a flight back to PHL. (0845 and I later flight). We have a 0755 the next day to SEA.
Is the GP status worth it when she travels with me and we don't make too many short US flights?
Since we're in YVR, it's difficult to take on a US mileage run.
