So, I funded my Sharebuilder account with $25, paid $9.95 to buy a stupid little penny stock. (I barely remember this.) Now I have ~$15 and a 25 cent stock. I withdrew the $15. But how do I dispose of the stock without paying another $9.95 trade fee?
I just want to close my account to prepare for next year!

Just did it online. I sold the stock and it shows the commission = stock value with 0 net, and I sold. Then to close your account I think it took an additional step. Sorry I don't remember the details (and can't get back in of course since I don't have an account anymore).
