Unhappy totally frustrated

Registered my card and my husband's on dividend miles dining. Drove a half hour to the closest restaurant listed in our area planning on buying a bottle of wine on one card and the meal on another. Turns out the place closed down back in March so I ended up eating out anyhow somewhere else which cost me $100 (at least it was on my usair card) but I can't figure out any way to get these hits. If there is anyone with a place near them that is willing to make a purhase for me on both accounts (or even one) or can point me to a place I can do it online I would be most appreciative. Thought I was all set with the indian place I ordered and was having sent to the mission but that was cancelled. I am so frustrated

We live out in the boonies with no place to rent a car- I am renting one for January for our trip but that won't help me now. Not enough hotel points to transfer. Looks like the Vinesse and Wine Insider won't work without a subscription I am deflated. I really wanted to surprise hubby with tickets to Europe this summer- I should have bought them when they were doubling the miles.

if you can find place online great but an alternative solution can be register your friend/family card in your and hubby's account and tell you folks to visit DM registered place nearby them.

It actually appears that neither requires a subscription, though one is more affordable than the other. See the "other partners" thread.

Scflier,

Are we confirmed for Wine insiders that expensive 12 bottle sampler option will work and we don't need any subscription.

Sadly we all live in this area-so that won't work. I would have been happy to send a meal to a shelter or foot the bill for someone but I can't find any other online ones other than the two that were mentioned here that will not work.

I just read that thread about the wine (it is long took me a while to get through it all lol) so i will order that too.

Your friend/family can be anywhere , not neccessarily in your area and they can eat at participating places.

sadly my friends all live here in the boonies too if anyone wants to be my friend and let me buy you a qualifying purchase please pm me- or if you know of any other delivery ones that I can donate to a shelter. Farm country is not good for dividend dining- guess I will have to cross it off my list as not possible. Still can't belive we drove all the way to the restaurant to find it closed

Maybe you can give one of the places a call and see if they'll just charge a couple of bucks for you. There are some family-owned places in the system that may (possibly?) be more likely to do it than a chain.

hit for adding credit card?

I thought I read somewhere that you could earn a hit by adding a new credit card number to your DMDining account, if the credit card had not previously been associated with any dining program. But now I can't find that anywhere in the grand slam rules.

Was I dreaming?

For anyone needing a dining hit!

It looks like I will be attending the YYZ FT do on Thurs Oct 13 which will be held at an i-dine pub/restaurant. I can register my credit card on your account. (see post #76)

I am still missing a number of hits because I don't live in the U.S. and hate to buy stuff and send it to someone else.

If you are interested in a dining hit, and wouldn't mind doing one of the following for me, perhaps we can help each other.

  • Vinesse
  • Biscoff
  • 1-800 flowers (or any of the other flower hits)
  • Office Max
  • Network Solutions
  • Trackitback.com
