LH T fare basis - earning miles on UA or CO

Hello,
I have an upcoming (business, not pleasure) IAH-BLR trip. Unfortunately the easiest is on LH but only T fare basis is available. I'm a Plat with CO and also have UA MP account. My trip may be between Mar1-Mar12 (covering both before and after UA/CO transition).

Questions:
1) CO OP does not earn miles on LH's T class. True?
http://www.continental.com/CMS/en-US...spx?ItemId=298

2) How about UA MP on LH's T class? UA mileage plus website is confusing.
http://www.united.com/page/article/0,,1189,00.html

3) Not sure why LH is offering only T fare class even just 7-10 days before flight...randomly checking for this weekend it still offers T class unfortunately.

I hate to fly 10K miles and not earn a single mile both redeemable and EQM.

Suggestions please? I tried to fly UA (DXB or NRT) but those routings does not show up in our Corporate Travel website...the main things that come up are LH or Delta. Don't want to fly Skyteam at all.

One more constraint: With my corporate travel website I cannot pick and choose what fare class I want. It will only display the lowest fare available...

Thanks!

I believe it is pretty clear: Footnote 2: NO MILES in T on transcontinental flights - as IAH-FRA and FRA-India is both intercontinental, you are out of luck. The only time you receive miles is when you are e.g. on a transatlantic flight and your european connecting segments are in T (most common, when you book a cheap UA/CO flight and connect to a LH codeshare that is mapped into booking class T (so American costumers wont complain about not receiving miles, even though it is a COUA marketed flight...
