Can I get to Acapulco (ACA) with UA miles?

So I've got a boatload of United Miles, but I've found that United doesn't fly to Acapulco..

Is there anyway to use UA miles for getting to Acapulco? It looks like USAir does go there (albeit w/ a connection).

I've never used *net with United miles... i'm guessing this will be a pain

Thanks

At the momment no *A carrier serves ACA. Once Co joins in late Oct. you can redeem on them.

CUN and PVR from certain hubs on certain days of the week. Not as frequent as MEX that's for sure.

UA's Mexico/Latin American coverage is really weak compared to other legacy carriers. It'll be good when CO joins.

I know what you mean... US sucks.... so much infact that I'm likely to rather choose to spend the $1400 for nonstop tix (2) through AA vs free tix on US..

ugh..

Or you fly them on a route that UA does not serve (LAS-SNA) I will say that I will not fly US on a long haul as I love E+ to make the long flight at least semi-comfortable but I have had friendly FAs on US on the most part and they have never left late for me on this flight. I guess I consider myself lucky in my limited US experiences.
