767 and 747 are done, 1 777 is out so enjoy E+ even if you're flying a 777 route, odds are likely against you

I am kinda uneasy about the second plane still not going in (CO already spitting into that soup??? ). Trying to remember, how long it took for the second 763 and 744 to go in at the time.

Was that indeed the case on the other (763,744) too?

It looks like it will take up to 2 years for the 777's to be completely refurbed.

So for the next year, just expect the old 777 configs.

Yes, the 767 and 747 C are far better than the old 777 C cabins. BUT, the old C cabin is still far better than Y.

So if stuck on the 777, I still go for the upgrade to get out of Y and enjoy the lounge, tranquility, comfort, food, and drink.

Actually, the wiki is a must easier place to see progress. Trolling through the threads can take awhile.

I'm only doing the trans-Atlantic or trans-Pacific upgrades, which requires a $1k copay r/t if you go with the cheapest econ ticket. I agree that any C seat is better than any Y seat but having test-ridden the new lie-flats on a 747 from FRA-SFO last month and flown on the old-style C seats many times, the extra dosh is not worth it IMHO. If it was miles only.... ABSOLUTELY! I have plenty of those, lol.

Anybody have any inside info on how I don't have to shell out the copay?
