Where are you looking to "see a second one" going in?

Forgot to mention, it's doing UA873 as we speak, SFO-IAD.
How long do they take to paint a 777?

Hmm... do they put it on a transpac operational flight to get over there and back? If so, is it usually on a path through NRT?

Is there any information out there to confirm or deny reconfigurations for UA803/IAD-NRT by July?

Not going to happen. One reconfigured plane is in service. It is about to be taken out to be painted. That will leave 0 reconfigured planes. When it comes back, threads on here countless times have mentioned that it will be based in SFO and will be flying a SFO-LHR-DEN-SFO triangle routing. Sorry.

You'd think they would have reconfigured one of the planes that had already been repainted!

Now that the plane is flying, has UA posted any other photos or seat maps anywhere? I noticed suitedreams.com is still not updated. What is their problem?

as discussed in this thread and in the wiki UA Interior_Conversions_UA#B777, it will take until mid(?)-2012 for the first group (2/3) and others later

If we only knew. Longer than UA would ever admit.

Based on their track record it won't be updated for 2-3 months.

I don't understand why UA takes so long to update their websites. I guess they do if faster if it benefits them!

I noticed that they changed the 5:25pm IAD-ORD flight from a 777 to a 757 and also the 6:18pm ORD-IAD to a 757 as well. I wonder if they are going to the conversion shop.

New speculation - when will all the CO 777s be repainted, get new IPTE seats, etc etc etc.

LOL.
