Well, sounds like my 21J flying LHR-DEN in August might be a little less valuable....but I'll accept the trade in exchange for AVOD.

Any idea how long the planes are going to stick on this route? I would assume it would stay there and then new configs would be added to other routes as the come online, or is it known if there is any plan to rotate this initially reconfig'd plane onto other routes?

Obviously the changes in premium cabins will be significant, but what will the differences look like in Y? 2-5-2 to 3-3-3, AVOD, moving the crew rests...anything else? Will the slimline leather seats be coming?

LHR/SFO/DEN rotation will require two planes, so it would be logical for the second one out of the shop to go onto that route as well. So it's difficult to see that any other route will be getting the plane until June.

Oh I don't know. I'm still hoping for IAD - FCO - IAD since I'm flying that route late April / early May.

Of course if LHR was part of my handle...

For Y the 3 pax will get to fight over the 2 plugs available in each seat of 3-3-3 for your DVD players & computers. Also Y will have V O D like F & C but will also have pay from your seat extra programing (not sure what extras you will have my best guest would be other movie opts or TV shows and games).

Most of the training is on the premium cabins. Seat and video re boots etc...

No word yet what order the AC will scheduled to.

Plan on bringing a splitter when you travel so you never have to fight over the power

Why? They don't have to make it bidirectional.

Or an extension cord in case your power drop isn't working...

Others may feel differently, but I think that's a great idea!

Hello

FYI, the cockpit rest seats in the F cabin on the reconfigured 777 are:

On the 777 XQ and XD it's 2A
On the XJ it is 2A and 2K.

If the power is like on other AC that may not work because the wattage is limited.

On Continental, the economy seats have a similar configuration (2 ports per 3 seats) on their 777s. I don't recall ever having to fight over power ports.

Caveat: The power ports on the CO planes are below the seats, between each seat. It may be that most people were simply unaware of the ac ports, as they were out of sight (and out of mind).

The only thing we know for sure is that it will never fly into or out of CDG. I heard they're going to be UX flights, CDG-LHR-WIC-FAE-IFJ-KUS-UAK-YYR-CAR-IAD on EMB120s.

According to the United Fleet Flyerguide wiki, 77XQs are getting the lower lobe crew rest area. They won't need 2A then will they?
