F seating layout on 777 New Config,

Hello.

This is PURE speculation but, hey, with no seat map available yet, I thought I'd take a guess at the new layout

I think it will be 2 suites either side and 2 pairs in the middle: total 8 seats.

Any other ideas?

I'm not that will last forever, though. There's a fair amount of long-haul capacity that airlines aren't using right now.
BS "seasonal adjustments" don't make the plane any fuller.

If they use the same 'pods' used on the 767 there's room for more than 8 - 3 per side, plus 3 in the middle at least. My guess is 12 total. If they drop to 8, as reported elsewhere, will be interesting to see how they use the extra space.

Probably 2 rows of 1-2-1 in F, just like OZ, SQ, and NH.

It's about time they update the website! Maybe we will see a seat map in the next few weeks...

I fully expect this layout. IIRC, this was the layout UA proposed in the now missing seat maps for the new config 777's.

Maybe UA should wait just a few more weeks and link to Seatguru when the planes start flying.

There are 2 versions of the suitedreams site.

On this version it says Fall 2009: http://suitedreams.united.com/

And on this one it says Spring 2010: http://www.suitedreams.united.com/

This is correct. They will be 1-2-1 in F - a total of 8 seats

probably was just a caching issue -- the two links show the single site and dates for me -- Spring 2010

Seat Expert has been showing this new config with econ as 2-5-2 for awhile (this were the original plans but that is out of date -- will be 3-3-3) ... so need to assume the rest of the seat map is also out of date
as noted in Post #123 from 6 months ago

Hello
So if F is going to 8 seats, is 1 of them still going to be used as a flight crew rest seat?
If so, then F on a 777 went from 11 seats to 7 , a loss of 4 seats! That's quite a reduction.

Flew LHR to SFO yesterday and purser announced that the new configuration 777 would be on this route in about 2 weeks. I asked flight attendent if I had heard correctly and she confirmed.^
