Does anyone else here think Twares are ?

Seriously, all of the fares havn't been that good. A trip to the mileage run forum here on FT will get you fares that are 50 times better.

From Boston, I could price better without the Tware (different airlines). Over $230. Not too exciting. I know BOS wasn't mentioned; it wasn't clear that the cities mentioned were the only ones included.

Tware is done as of a few minutes ago (4:39 PM EST)

Tried to get the tware: DEN-LGA today...couldn't find availability.

Perhaps UA will have a tware "Senior Sale" where those with AARP numbers can use the phone and wave the $15.00 fee?

New Tware is out there from ~30 minutes ago. SFO-LAS or VV, for $38 each way. Looks like it comes out to a total of $96.20 with tax. http://tinyurl.com/np5vkh

But may not be for anyone here - MR's not welcome - page specifically says no MP accrual, and looks to book into G class. Travel until July 31.

Hmmm....no mileage on tware's seem to be becoming a trend. Hopefully, that will end though. Wonder if most people booking even realize that - I suspect this last one books into G class as well (didn't check).

Not good for the people in this forum, for sure, but wonder if there will be a backlash from people who book the fares, not realizing mileage is not included.

It will be interesting to see if this sticks. If UA sees a significant drop in the number of people purchasing these twares I'm sure they'll go back to allowing mileage accrual. However, if they don't see a noticeable drop then I wouldn't be surprised to see these types of non-mileage earning fares expanded.

A big thumbs down to no mileage accrual. Then do not offer the fare.
