Comp status in Japan soon introduced?
I visited CTO at Osaka, Japan about two weeks ago. When I was there I heard a conversation over a partition planning announcement of a promotion to comp MP status for elite members of other airlines.
I know such a comp is rather often given in the US, but it IS rare if not none at all in Japan. And I don't think such usually hasn't been publicly announced.
Though I won't be able to benefit from the promo as already an elite member, it is interesting.
