Best flight to BRU?
 
Hi im flying BOS-BRU and then next day BRU-SFO. UAL has nothing direct; what connections have you tried and recoomend on those routes?

The only UA flight to BRU is from IAD. Basically, anything you want to do on UA out of Boston to Europe goes through IAD (or ORD if you don't mind backtracking).

Second option is LH via FRA or MUC out of BOS. Will be about same travel time as UA via IAD.

IAD-LHR or ORD-LHR, both on new config 767 lie-flat biz class. Connect at LHR on BMI (they have multiple flights) to BRU. Prices are pretty good on BMI, and sometimes LHR flights have good prices also.

Then it would be better to chose the IAD-BRU-IAD flight (UA950/951).


BOS-IAD-BRU-IAD-SFO would be the most common route.

I have taken both the LH BOS-MUC-BRU and the UA BOS-IAD-BRU and prefer the UA. Not the least reason because of MP and also I prefer to connect in the US rather than in MUC in the morning. Avoid the US Phl connection.
