Status Miles for Bumped Flight??

Several weeks ago I volunteered for bumping on a UA segment ORD/BUF. I was placed on an AA flight. I gave AA my AA ff number. I have received the AA miles for the one segment and UA miles for the other segments (but no bonuses yet).

My question is will I receive either UA FF miles for the ORD/BUF segment or UA status miles. I am particularly concerned about the status miles as I am within a few thousand miles of PE, and have a SEA/LAX flight next month. If I have to, I can make the miles by breaking my flight into Shuttle segments, but would much prefer the non-stop. Anyone know what the official UA policy is? Do I have to write or call for the miles (either FF or status)? Thanks for any help.

Do this all the time. Answer - STATUS, just as if you actually flew it.
You will probably have to fax in your AA boarding pass and UA ticket receipt to Mileage Plus so they can credit you the miles. Ain't life great?

Thanks,

That was the reply I hoped for, but didn't really count on.
