Back in the 90's and into early '00s. Flight #'s 1 and 2 were their around the world flights.

1: JFK-LAX-HKG-DEL-LHR-JFK
2: JFK-LHR-DEL-HKG-LAX-JFK

you can look at the prices and see if its profitable, but you may be able to do something like ord-hkg-sin then sin to iad through a city other than hkg (not sure if it will screw up if you connect through hkg again). if you did that, i think it would only end up costing one swu. then just fly from iad-ord (either using an e-500 or 2 or sitting in e+). i just picked iad randomly-it can really be any airport thats not ord. im not really sure if it would work if you flew back into mdw or something (it may consider it a round trip). not even sure if ua flies into mdw
