Question Receipt of New RCC Card For Pre-March 1 Pricing Renewal Offer

I renewed my RCC Membership under the old price structure before March 1 with the offer that was provided for those who weren't due to expire yet. I haven't recevied a new Membership card showing my new expiration date yet. Website shows the extended expiration date. Anyone else not get their card yet? (Sorry if this was already covered - tried search but couldn't find anything on this.) Thanks.

Has your old card expired yet? If the Web site shows its okay my guess is you are all good. You can always use a BP if you are in good standing in the system.

The BPs won't work if you're trying to use a Star Alliance lounge somewhere else and you don't have status.

I'm in the same boat as you, and my expiration expires at the end of the month. I called the RCC line and they said they would look into it, but in the meantime I could ask for a temporary membership card at any RCC, which would be accepted by USAirways Lounges (the primary reason I need the actual card)

Same thing here.

April 09 expiration, early renewal, no new card.

The website shows the correct expiration date.

I told the concierge at PHL that I hadn't received my card; she
said that there had been numerous complaints, and that the new
vendor had fallen down badly on the job. She issued me a cardboard
card good for a month. The new maroon card showed up about a
week late.

price coming down?

Any chance with this bad economy, they will lower the price back to where it was for 2010?

I renewed my membership towards the end of February and it indeed took a while before I got my new RCC card. Perhaps more than three weeks, I think.

Still, the RCC cards really don't matter. I often just show my MP 1K card and it works fine. If you renewed, you should be in the system. If you're accessing a partner lounge you still need your MP *A gold card anyways.

You don't have to be Star Gold if you are an RCC member.

I think we will see more promotions in the near future for renewals and enrollments.

The majority of the lounges one can use with *G:

RCC members get reciprocal lounge access to US when flying US and other *A lounges. The official wording of the policy is:

RCC renewal

I renewed before the deadline and received my card on April 5 - a few days after the old one expired. But it didn't matter as I was in the system. You probably know that you can't use your 1K card for USAir lounges when an RCC member flying on USAir.

Still important to those of us who like to use the USAirways Club while traveling within the US on USAirways.

no card for me yet

I too renewed before the deadline. My membership runs through July so I renewed over the phone as I wanted to be clear that my renewal (while taking place in February) would actually extend my mebership through July of 2010. The agent told me yes, it would. However I still have not received a new membership card showing expiration of July 2010. I am assuming that either the vendor is just slow, or the new card will not come until closer to my July anniversary date.

By the way, where on the website can you see your RCC membership expiration date? I have never tried to look for it and am not sure where it is.
