Who get E+

I know that Premier and above MP members, Full Fare, and *Alliance Silver and Gold members get E+, according to: http://www.ual.com/site/primary/0,10017,1314,00.html

However on the *Alliance website they list general MP members as *Silver at: http://www.star-alliance.com/isroot/SA/htmen/1_1-23.htm
Does this mean at general MP member travelling on a cheap ticket also get E+

This does not work properly, it shows plain M&M members as Silver too.

LGA_UAL - You abbreviated the rule for full fare. The web site states Y AND B fares, not just Y

In theory * status give you Eco+, but look at
our experience, how they try not to give you seats in Eco+:
First we called United ourselves, she said
she gave use E+ seats, but did not want to tell the seat numbers, checking with
our TA turns out, only one out of four flights was in E+ then.

Then our TA called them (after I checked on ITN, which seats were available,
which wass all but two), they told her first, that it is only for UA premiers, then
that the UACSR can do, our TA asked for the helpdesk then and
they tried to say that no seat were left in E+, finally after telling them that she
knew, there were seats left, she got them (taking her 30 minutes on the phone).

A few weeks later, they changed the plane on one segment, so our seats did not
exist anymore, of course the new seats were far back, it took our TA 15 minutes on
the phone
again to get us E+ seats again...

Did anybody had better experiences with them, who has no status with UA ?

This is more related to your "losing" your E+ seats due to equipment change. After I got burned by this a couple of times, I tried to be more diligent in first thinking thru 1) if there was an equipment change what would be the likely substitute(s) and
2)then selecting seats that would always "exist" within the widest range of equipment possibilities. Its not a perfect scheme, but it has saved me some heartburn a few times.
