When does status reset?
 

Having fallen out of love with UA a while ago, I put most of my miles in '08 on to BD. Not really that clever, given the impending demise of all BD flights to the US. ;)

Anyway, the upshot is that after 3 years of 2p, and 3 years of 1p, I only flew 15K EQM in '08.

My status still shows as 1p on UAL.com. Presumably this will reset to the lowest of the low in Feb? Or have I been very lucky and somehow kept my status?

Yes, your 08 status ends Feb 28th 2009. It should then show GM on Mar 1

I don't think UA ever throws that bone... you have to get that from another elite who nominates you. It'll be 2P or nothing.

So it's not this year but next year when status will reset at the end of January? Whew. Not looking forward to being 2P again -- at least I get to put it off a little bit longer!

I think it was status for nominated (pre-July..... or maybe June) 3P's that status is only until Jan 31.

I will go from Premier Exec to just Premier Starting March 1st this year. The funny thing is I flew back from EZE on AC on January the 6th and didn't get my bonus miles for being Premier Exec. Did that stop on Jan the 1st or do you not get the bonus with AC? Thanks.

IME, it takes a few extra days for the bouns miles to appear (when on a *A carrier).

I don't think you get elite bonuses for flying any *A carrier except US and LH (and transatlantic flights only for LH). I suspect there will be elite bonuses for CO flights when they join the *A.

The OP has 1P status until March 1, 2009. But someone in the same situation next year will have 1P status until Feb 1, 2010. Look at your card.
