SFO -- Gate 65

Does anyone know the story of Gate 65 at SFO? This is actually an AA gate. I have taken a morning flight a couple of times DEN-SFO (777 equipment) which arrives at this gate. It then seems that the flight goes onto either Tokyo or London.

The problem is that to connect, you get to go through security again, which is always fun with a tight connection.

Gate Sixty Five will soon be no more
Used for Flight 930 to London I do abhor
The trip to Old Gate Sixty Five
No lounge no snacks, I did survive
Last Friday my flight, old Nine Thirty
Departed from the new Terminal which I did see
A beautiful building I saw with glee
No Sixty Five, no more for me
So rest assured and within 2 weeks
No Sixty Five, you'll never seeks
For a UA flight in AA Land
Gate Sixty Five will soon be panned
