The extra 25%

As a Premier Member of United's Mileage Plus, for every flight, you recive 125% of the miles flown, as opposed to the regualr member who recieve 100%. Every year a Premier must fly 25,000 miles to re-qualify the next year. Does that extra 25% count twoards the 25,000 miles needed to re-qualify?

Thank-you!

No. The 25% is a "bonus". Status miles are only based on actual flight miles flown (or the minimum 500 miles per leg).

Absolutely correct. However, once you are Premier, you DO get the 25% bonus on all the next year's miles including the first 25K.
