First time using Expedia
Well, if UA wanted to stimulate business they certainly did. I just purchased 2 tix from HPN (White Plains) to Indy in October.
I'm looking forward to my 30% off in the future.
By purchasing at Expedia, I did lose the UA online 1000 mile bonus, but hey, I"ll get that 30% off. If I use it on a $500 flight, that's $150. off.
I wonder if Expedia or UA is eating the difference? UA saves the online bonus miles, and that's worth something. (Not much).
It also took a little longer booking with Expedia, but maybe that was because it was my first time on their site. BTW, I also booked a National car rental that was $55 for 3 days. Nat quoted $85 on their 800#. And that was for Emerald! Not bad.
I'm staying over a Saturday night for $210 R/T.
Anyone from / or been to Indy or Bloomington?
<<< Could use some info.

There are a number of Indy based flyers that are on the Bulletin Board. I've made seven trips there over the last 20 months. Great city.
If you have any travel questions about Indy, you might have better luck posting in "General Travel".
