Question on EQS. Could not find in search....

I did a ORD to SJC with a stop in DEN but only got 2 EQS total.

Also had a PHL to ORD cxl and a PHL to Hartford to ORD reschedule and only got 1 EQS.

Is this right or should I dispute? Thanks....

You really don't give much information, but if a flight is booked as a "direct" flight, it's only 1 EQS even if you stop and change planes.

Typically each segment flown earns you 1 EQS, with some exceptions, Premium Coach fares can earn you 1.5 EQSs. However I am going to guess that your ORD-DEN-SJC flight was a "direct" flight in that it is a same plane with a through flight number (although some direct flights require an aircraft change). If you see the flight listed as two seperate line items (each way) on the summary page of your account I would speculate you should have earned 2 EQS (each way). You can request missing credit by clicking on a link that is below the earning chart on the page referenced below. Same applies with your reroute, history suggests you should earn credit for it.

Yes the ORD to DEN to SJC was a RT and I got 2 EQS total, but as maha explained it is coded as direct with a stop...:td:

On the PHL to ORD return cxld, the fantastic GA took care of me first and I got the last seat PHL to Hartford on USScare, then a UAL to ORD and ended only being about 2 hours later than original flight, but thought I would get 2 EQS

In the future, and if need to build EQS bank, I guess need to build trip using multi city tool on .bomb all in order to retain 1P cause I don't do long trips...mainly ORD to PHL and ORD to DCA....Thanks all
