Using a Voucher - I'm an Idiot
I have dollars-off vouchers from a flight last year where I gave up my seat, and I stupidly misread the date of the voucher, so it expired on Monday (I somehow read it as being issued on Nov 23 of 2007, rather than the 3d - my old eyes must be failing me). Has anyone ever had any success getting United to extend the date on these vouchers based on stupidity? If so, any ideas what the best approach would be?

i'm sorry, if you feel any better, it happened to 4 of mine (family was delayed last year) : (

worked for me
last year when i called into customer relations, premier line. they said they'd allow it as a one-time courtesy or "goodwill" gesture. i was pleasantly surprised. these accommodations through customer relations allows me to weather the unpleasant surprises during travel.

So what is the "I'm an Idiot" Premiere Customer Service Number?
Can't believe I let this happen... Over three hundred in re-fare vouchers expired on 5th. I don't usually fly UA so I also have no status with which to grovel. Is there an "I'm an idiot" support sub-forum in Omni? |
