need MPlus online double miles offer code!

Can any of you help me?

On Sept 23, 1999, I signed up online for a double miles offer at the UA website, but I neglected to note the code number for the offer (fool!). I have traveled on United during the time slot indicated in the offer (see quoted text below) but have not received my double miles. I really would like those miles! Anyone know the code number so I can report it to Mileage Plus?

Many thanks.

"You'll receive double miles for each segment you fly in any class of service. There's no limit to the number of times you can receive this bonus during the offer period. Travel must be completed by March 31, 2000. This offer is not combinable with other current Mileage Plus bonus offers. Valid only for tickets sold in the United States. Offer subject to change without MPlusnotice. Other restrictions may apply. You must register for this offer to earn the bonus."

On which route(s) were they making this offer? Since it is valid for travel through March 31 I would expect that the promotion code is still at the website.

September 22, 1999 through March 31, 2000.
Earn double miles when you purchase and fly a trip on United or
United Express® between Washington D.C.’s Dulles and Boston or
New York’s LaGuardia.(MPNF29)

Remembering correctly (I hope), the offer was for any travel in the US.

This offer and the offer code does not exist at the site any more. I called MPlus and was told they have so many offers of this sort, that until I know the code, I cannot get the miles.

This just goes to show you.. it would really pay to have a friend in MPlus.. so with all these double mile offers on any flight, we could have alot of miles... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Seriously, it just makes me wonder how many promotions are going on at the same time.. especially stealth promotions http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I was told there were over 200 offers fo this sort..... seriously!

The only offer that even sounds familiar to the one you describe is the "fly more than you did last year" promotion which gives double miles for all UA flighs through Q1. You must have recieved the letter to participate and there is no code to enroll.

I visit the United web site often. I have never seen an offer which offered double miles on all flights until March 31. Offers there are between certain pairs of cities, like the one I listed above. If there was such an offer for double miles on all flights, it would have been mentioned here in FlyerTalk.

Excuse me, but I too check the United offers often. The text I copied out (see intial email for this string) is direct from the offer. Although I neglected to copy exactly what the offer was, my memory of the offer says it was for all US flights.

I am asking about it in this forum because I know what an excellent source of information this forum is. If my memory serves me wrong - well, no wonder I cannot receive the double miles.

The one that I was aware of was double on Shuttle for a few months. It was not fare specific. I don't have the promo code anymore.

You could always call MP and check what they do have you signed up for.

I mean no offense, TravelGirl, but I seriously doubt UA would offer double miles on ALL flights taken between September and the end of March. That would be umptey-teen billions of miles awarded. (Not an unpleasant thought! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif) The terms you cite sound an awful lot like the offer for IAD-LGA/BOS that PG mentioned. You did have to sign up for that one.

Hope this helps.
