Condor Airlines

I am aware that Condor Flugdienst is a 100% owned subsidiary of Lufthansa.
Can Mileage Plus miles be credited on scheduled flights on this airline? eg FRA to Tenerife.

No http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

only 'some' miles with LH's miles&more program.

from LH's website

Other Airline Partners

In addition to its Star Alliance partners, Lufthansa has entered into agreements with other airlines on which you can earn miles and redeem awards: Air Dolomiti, Augsburg Airways, British Midland, Mexicana, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Spanair, Team Lufthansa, Cimber Air, VLM.

On selected routes with Adria Airways, Czech Airlines, Lauda Air, Luxair, Qatar Airways and Tyrolean. Certain tariffs or routes may not be eligible to earn miles. Your mileage account also benefits from your holiday travel with Condor, because these miles too are now credited to you.
If you want to become a LH miles&more member, I can send you an application form and you (and I) get 5'000 miles entry-bonus (after having been credited the first 3'000 flight miles). a simple request by email - and the registration material is on it's way to you.

Rudi: do those miles have to be credited to the account (i.e., could I fly LH and put the miles to my UA account and still have those miles count toward the 3,000 needed for the bonus???) If so, how many miles from FRA to ATH http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif?

must be credited to the new LH miles&more-account - can be miles from any StarAlliance-flight-partner ...

FRA-Athens onw-way: 1123 miles only

thank you,
I'm not sure now if Condor is the way to go.
There are not many ways to get from ORD to the Canary Islands. My preference was to use a Star Alliance carrier but in February, LH does not seem to have any flights!
