Thanks, Mr. BLADE. You're very sharp. By the way, I just applied for the card and those 10,000 miles took just a week to post! Which makes me very happy http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif since I won't have to ask them about the miles 10 weeks from now! Also, if you've got some form of status on united, the gold card fee is knocked down to the standard fee. - $60.00.

Is there a promotion for the mileage plus visa card (not sure if its first card or first usa after the latter takingover the former) where the annual fee is waived for 6 months and with 10000 bonus miles?

I remember seeing another posting but can't find it using the "search".
