Award Waitlist
I have not requested for ticket award for the past 3-4 years and just learned that you can only be on the waitlist fro 3 days. Is it true? or is it something to do with 1 sector being confirmed? My itn is as follows :-
HKG to MSN
ORD to HKG
ORD to MSN is confirmed while all other sectors are waitlisted.

Never heard of this before. I know that you can only hold an award itin for 72 hours before ticketing. But I currently have several tkts where a segment or two is waitlisted, and has been for months.

If you're ticketed, you may waitlist forever on an all-UA award. If you're not ticketed, it's a maximum of 72-hours. Good luck -- per our profile, only 3/1000 waitlisted awards clear ; ).
