Canceled Flight Value
 

I was scheduled to do a MR this morning on UA 243 to DEN from ORD. I got the easy update around 1 am last night telling me the flight had been canceled, and I decided to bag the trip (probably stupidly). I am wondering if the ticket has any value, and if I can re-apply the value (180 bucks) to another MR to DEN.

If the flight was canceled, you should call and tell them you're aborting the trip (trip in vain). They should give you full value or refund your money.

They should refund it in full - no problem.

Agreed - you're due a refund because they cancelled but you have to call today and its best to do it ASAP as they likely moved you to a new flight and you now look like a no show.

Thanks everyone, I was able to call before my DEN-SAT flight left, and they issued me a full refund. Now to find a cheap MR out of ORD (need 800 miles to make 1P).
