4 or 5 years ago, I snagged an e-fare IAD-MVD for $500. Great! I continued looking at the e-fare announcements each week for perhaps another couple of years, but never saw anything domestic or international that was of interest. Indeed, I would shake my head when I would see domestic e-fares with their special limitations (e.g., out on a Friday or Saturday, return on that Sunday or Monday) that were either no better or still more expensive than other fares UA was offering at the same time.

Anybody have experience of great e-fares in recent times, especially international ones?

there were quite a few last minute deals from RDU to Toronto for 320$ all-in on the weekends. it is definitely better than ridiculous 1000$+ fare on AC.
