Still Bonus MP EQMs on US?

Does anyone know if there we still get bonus EQMs for Premiers/Pr Exec/1Ks when flying on US Airways after US airways stops awarding bonus EQMs on its own Dividend Program?

I am a former US Chairmans (analogous to 1K on UA) who credits exclusively to UA MP.

I believe US has stopped its bonus miles for elites, but as of today UA is still giving me a 25% bonus (I am only 2P so far) for the US flights I take but credit to UA.

hscottm is correct, and it's important to note that that's as of now. The same question was asked when US eliminated the 500 mile minimums, but UA quickly followed. I'm not saying UA will make a decision just as dumb, but I wouldn't be surprised if they at least eliminated elite bonus miles for UA elites when flying US.

Are you maybe confusing EQMs with RDMs? I am not aware of any elite bonus EQMs. US eliminated bonus RDMs for elites, and I have no idea how that applies to UA flyers on US.

UA flyers still get an elite RDM bonus for flying US. I am a 1P and get a 100% bonus on US flights.

From my Mileage Plus account:

Jun 27, 2008 US 2172 Y Class DCA to LGA 500 500 0 1,000
Jun 30, 2008 US 2175 Y Class LGA to DCA 500 500 0 1,000

There are no "elite" EQM bonuses. But all Mileage Plus members get a 50% EQM/EQS bonus on a paid US ticket in First Class (F, A), Business Class (C, D, J, Z) and unrestricted Economy (Y, B).

The official policy is at http://www.united.com/page/article/0,1360,50107,00.html

When you fly on US Airways on a paid ticket in First Class (F, A), Business Class (C, D, J, Z) and unrestricted Economy (Y, B) you earn a 50% EQM/EQS bonus.

Mileage Plus program match:
As a Mileage Plus elite member, flights on US Airways earn the elite level mileage bonus (redeemable mileage credit):

* Premier members earn a 25% redeemable mileage credit bonus
* Premier Executives and 1K members earn a 100% redeemable mileage credit bonus

Thanks

Yes I meant bonus RDMs. Good, still means we can still fly US and get the bonus for now. Although, with charges on drinks and eliminating movies on certain routes--I'll have to think twice.

Thanks all.

A $2 drink makes a difference? I'd think convenience of schedule and other factors would be more important to most people (which is presumably what US is counting on).

(I am writing that from a local coffee shop sipping my $3.50 iced mocha)

It's funny, and somewhat sad, to see flights like LGA-ACK post with 202 flight miles and 202 status bonus miles. I guess I shouldn't be complaining too much though, since at least all of my US flights are under 500 miles.

On a related note, that LGA-ACK one-way refundable fare was almost $500, yet it booked into N class -- which doesn't earn the fare bonus. Amazing.

The US Airways Shuttle (DCA-LGA-BOS) is still serving free drinks, INCLUDING beer and wine, to all passengers. I suppose they are STILL doing this to compete with the Delta Shuttle.

For now, yes. The DM rules mean nothing for MP.

Wonder if US is purposely doing this so that its elites will go to UA but still give US business since UA gives bonus miles.

I don't think they're smart enough to pull that off.

The post you're responding to was a new thread that was later merged into this one.
